I like that answer. But I'll say that I'll seek the exchange. But not before I sue the hospital first. I cannot begin to describe what a person would go through when stuck in the middle of such a dilemma. Some people might not do such a thing because it feels like you're giving up your real love even though it's not yours biologically. So much can happen in a year and you have expended your time and compassion to show the baby that it is worth the world to you. To find out that it's not yours after a year is one of the more heartbreaking moments than anyone can experience.
I almost answered no to that question because of what I said in the last paragraph. But the child deserves to know what truth is.
This is such a tough question. It will be a tougher pill to swallow after knowing that the child is not yours and you still keep it.
