I did. It's not too shabby! Especially as a shot. I think the ladies will dig it. A cool novelty.

Weird. It's not that tough. I'm filtering the "white stuff" out of mine now. Made the lime green kind. The skittles disolved almost completely. And the taste is a far cry from the smirnoff it started out as.
I am curious about the bacon vodka though.

Here's a tip for those on a budget. I read an article about a product called a "Grey Kangaroo". It's a filter that's supposed to filter cheap booze and make it taste better. I did a little bit of research and I determined that it's nothing more than a charcoal filter that connects between two bottles.
Here's my method... I use a "Brita Pitcher". Bought a "Britta Water Pitcher" for $18.00 (it comes with a filter), and a 2 liter bottle of whiskey for $14.00. I poured the cheap whiskey thru the filter 4 times and it's taste is actually right up there with the high dollar stuff now. I've used it with whiskey, rum, vodka, gin and tequila and I'm very happy with the results. I told a friend about it (he drinks a 2 liter bottle every week and was spending about $65.00) and now he's cut his expenses by about $40.00 per week. I'm not sure how long the filter will last, but at $8.00 per filter, if I can filter 50 gallons per filter, I won't complain.

We used to do this when I was in high school when we threw parties. The girls loved it so we kept making it just for the girls who came to the parties. When we got to college I dont think any of us have even thought about making some more of it me personally I don't think it is that great.
