I just don't understand how someone can charge for pictures that they don't even own the copy right on.

I didn't make the decision to start charging for ICF lightly. Essentially I had two choices, begin charging for access or to close the site down. After 12 years of updates and keeping it free for all, I was reluctant to choose the latter. However, ICF consumes immense amounts of bandwidth monthly, terabytes in fact (last month there was almost 200,000 unique visitors, each downloading gigabytes of images), and takes many hours of my time each month tp put it all together. I only want to make enough to keep it afloat as people are no longer clicking the advertising banners and joining the paysites, my previous way of keeping it afloat. There are 3 payment options: $10 for 30 days. $19.95 for 90 days and $69.96 for 365 days (that's less than $6 a month). Either way, whether you stick around or not, I genuinely thank you for you past support and hope that I've provided you with plenty of entertainment over the years. This decision was always going to be an unpopular one with most people that visit the site, I understand that, I just hope most understand my reasons for doing so. There are plenty of other Celeb foot sites out there, both free & paysites. Perhaps you'll find one more to your liking. Nonetheless, that doesn't mean anything will be changing here at Wu's. I'll still be posting plenty of pics and they won't cost you a cent. Cheers LL

I also support the decision to go for pay. Those prices are a steal even if the content is HALF as good as the stuff I've seen in my short time on the forum.

As the old chestnut goes, "there's no such thing as a free lunch". I have truly enjoyed and appreciated all the past efforts you have provided for free. Sadly, though, regardless of the amount of passion, the passion has to be fed.
I can only imagine how difficult it was for you to arrive at your decision. I understand it and support it; when I'm back on my financial feet (so to speak) I'll fund it.

I respect your decision. That said, I have to say that I can't for the life of me pay ten bucks for photos that I'd get for free on forums, and in higher resolutions too. So, good luck with that!

I agree with Troy. I mean, I like Lord L's site, but they are just photos that were either scanned or uploaded from google or whatever.

Ive been an avid viewer of your site for years LL; but when a few months ago I browsed that new Wiki site, I kinda knew this great site was headed to the cleaners. Whoever has hosted that site has an extreme amount of bandwith to play with, seemingly for free; and the site just popped up all of a sudden so you lost a lot of people from here due to interest. I hate to say it LL, but a lot of people will not pay, even the very cheap payment your asking for, when they can go there for free. But thank you again for many great years of enjoyment.
