Whoever is growing corn might needed to spray pesticides to clear out that problem of the tips not forming full kernals...or perhaps the ears were left unpicked for too long!
...but on a non-agricultural note...nice to see you back SLT...had missed seeing all your posts...going cold turkey was hard!

Well we have had a lot of flooding problems this season.. I'm not sure if that explains it. But otherwise harvest isn't for another month and a half. ;p

Harvest isn't for another month and a half? wow...All my corn has been harvested...hope not to bore the non-ag people!!
All my corn is gone...and I even staggered planting.

Nice composition in this shot. I love how the ear of corn and her toes are clear but Ally is blurry in the back...it really brings your eyes to the important part...THE FEET!
