After shooting a set downtown on a hot day, Jamie changed into a new outfit and pulled on her blue canvas shoes without any socks. I had told her that a lot of people love seeing a girl in shoes without socks and she said, "Let's shoot it."

As we walked around the city for a little bit, we just weren't finding a good location to do the set. We were close to the car so we decided to just head back home and find a place on the way. In the back of my mind, I also thought that us having wasted some time walking around would get those feet nice and sweaty in the meantime.

On the drive we remembered an elementary school not too far off the main road and decided to make a stop. The school had a long bike rack out in front and we decided to use it. The bars gave Jamie lots of great places to stick those warm, sweaty feet. And about half way through the set, those damp feet started getting dirty having all the dirt cling to them. I thought they looked so cute both soft and sweaty and then slightly dusty.

I've been really loving the bright, non-traditional colors. Been trying to get the girls to shy away from the standard pink, red, and French pedicure at times. While I like those, I like these kinds of colors more. Almost like a way to say, "hey, look at my toes." Lol
