This was Junichi Masuda's surprise announcement on Pokemon Smash today. It features the alternate forms of Kyurem, that we have been predicting since the release of the original Black/White.

Color me very surprised at the title. I and many, many others were expecting the usual third version in the form of "Grey" and "Chrome". Seeing the "third version(s)" (if they can even be called that anymore) simply named "Black 2" and "White 2" totally came from left field. Then again, by having "2" in their titles, that could mean that these aren't just third versions like before but that they're direct sequels, and they could very well be all new adventures instead of the usual (until now(?)) repeat adventures with added content and story elements.

Whatever the case... Take my money, Game Freak and Nintendo.

Game Boy is a long dead platform, but the DS is a much better handheld; perhaps the best handheld of all time (so far).

Plus, there's only so much you can do on a Game Boy. I can't imagine having to carry around link cables anymore.

I just love the novelty, man.

I mean at the moment I'm on Pokemon Silver using an andriod Gameboy emulator...I'm happy.

I've never played past r/b/y so it's all new to me.

I suppose I'm just generally not a fan of the DS; it always seemed like a waste of money to me. Having said that, we just bought a Wii...
