Just one of my favorite genres because i like to drift away into the fantasy world rather then having to deal with this one.
Just so everyone knows why i am crazy about movies and games (PC, TV console ones), music, uhhhm books? Before.

But War movies! You peoples favorite one there?
I have several:
Band of Brothers
Saving Private Ryan
Andersonville (american civil war)
Gettysburg
Das Boot
Vinterkriget (Winter War, the finnish war with Russia WW2)
Schindlers List (though not about the war itself of course)

At the top of my head now.
Anyone else?

Edit: Even older ones like, what was it in english, Where Eagles Dare? Örnnästet in swedish.
Clint Eastwooooood [Smile]
(tough guys that are good).

Edit: Hahaha!
"Is anysing wrong???" Where Eagles Dare german officer line in the movie.
I remember it and always chuckle when i hear his cute funny way of not being able to pronounce the "th", tounge on teeth and..sing....hahaha. Ok.

Happy happy puppy today, very active.
I wanna make up for being the "bad guy" but mostly, the show must go on!
Affirmative (Alien2 quote, little brave girl soldier). <3

Some of my picks may revolve around war but not necessarily in action. My top war movies would be
- Saving Private Ryan
- Hacksaw Ridge
- Schindler's List
- Fury
- Escape from Sobibor
- The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

Fantasy/Other War Movies
- 300
- Avatar
- Edge of Tomorrow
- Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
- Independence Day

I have to say one of my favorites is an old Clint Eastwood film called "Kellys Heros." Also starred Telly Savalas.
