i didnt read the article, but why do you read articles about this? you live normally with it (i hope), so why do you need someone's perspective on it who probably doesn't even have a ff.

I didn't say I needed to read anything on it. It's a matter of want. I'm open to new learning, and I am hungry for it. Maybe it'll be nothing I didn't already know. Maybe it'll be something I didn't already know. How will I know unless I read it?
Do you really believe that you have your own life so sewn-up that no one could possibly lend their own perspective on life and give you insights that maybe had not occurred to you?

Nothing wrong with reading it. You don't have to agree with things or feel like it is an attack. It peeks some people's interest to see something written that isn't the typical, "that wierdo that likes feet," story. I actually found this informational since it was a woman who did a little bit of research to see what it's all about and was willing to explore things that even some of us foot lovers haven't experienced. You could always read it yourself and see that it's not a blast fest.

Yeah that view about toe sucking is rediculous. (in my opinion)
I read stuff like that because I find it interesting to find out other people's views (particularly women) on foot fetish. It has nothing to do with feeling I am looking for some level of reassurance. I have never felt that way about it.

That article is really no more than an ad for her own videos. books, etc. Plus she offers no research references to back up the "studies" she quotes from...typical of most online "science".
As a 42 year old woman who has been into foot fetishism since I was 14 or 15, I also disagree with the toe-sucking analogy to that of sucking a pseudo-penis.
In the end this article is typical of most one finds online...very shaky at best, designed more to titillate the reader or push a product than to educate him/her.

Well said! The article is virtually all speculation and theorizing with nothing to substantiate her claims. Still, it is nice to see her try to be understanding.
