I've seen some guys here say how good women's feet smell, when it seems more like their definition of "good" is more along the lines of how bad they stink. I mean, you're free to like what you like, but when some guys describe the smell with words like "cheesy" or "rank" or whatnot, it just turns me off even more.
If a woman's feet have a pleasant aroma such as flowers or fruits, then I'm all for it, but is they stink so bad you can smell it when entering a room or the instant she takes her shoes off, then that's just a turn-off for me, personally.

There is a difference, for most of us guys who love to smell a girl's feet, between smelly and just putrid. I have a harder time explaining 'THIS' more than any other facet of my personality. Needless to say, foot odor isn't exactly black & white. Every fetishist has his/her own approach to it (or none at all) depending on your taste. As for myself: If they're way too smelly, not only will I lose interest, but also my erection. At the other end of the spectrum, if they're odorless--I'm actually okay with that! I'd be a fool to pass up the opportunity, just because someone's feet didn't give off a certain "aroma!" I don't see the the appeal in stinky feet either. I like them have a little smell, but not very much. The perfect smell for me is when they take a shower right before bed. The way their feet smell and taste in the morning they wake up is incredible.
Sweat has little to no scent. It's the bacteria that makes the strong odor. Maybe it's the thought that smelly feet are/could be dirty feet.

I suppose I am in the middle here, but I agree with others who have said they hate feet that don't smell or smell of lotion and soap. I know I have a foot fetish and a fetish for naturally smelling feet, when I ask my fiance for some fun and she says she wants to shower, and sometimes I just literally can't get things going after. For me it's all about natural foot sweat in various types of shoes without socks or any other hose...... Basically any sweat odour be it strong or subtle is a bonus but not absolutely essential.
