Some are into it or OK with it, and some aren't. My wife is, thankfully. If she hadn't been, I don't think we'd be together today. But I do think it's possible to bring around the women who aren't.

I feel you. I don't think most AA women are into it unless you are talking about money.

So let me get this straight: you essentially were paying $40 each time in exchange for rubbing this woman's feet. Fair enough exchange. However, if you're ever unable to pay, you still want her to hold up her end of the deal and give you her feet, otherwise, it shows she's only in it for the money?
