So - I've been really busy working most days till 9, 10 and sometimes 12 at night. I've been exhausted and after all that computer work - getting on the computer was almost frightening to me! Also, I stubbed a toe pretty bad on a door frame in my house -- no I don't know how I could be so uncoordinated!

Anyway - here's the damage......and yes I cried ...LOL not from pain as much as from the look of my poor ragged toenail

They say "Time Heals All Wounds" and it's true; it does, and (thankfully) this old adage is yet more true in the case of physical "wounds". Here's wishing you a speedy recovery ... and a lot less work, while you're at it.

I totally understand where you're coming from, but we still love you. Very glad that you didn't break your toe. My wife broke her little toe by bumping into the leg of a coffee table year's ago- accidents happen. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Broken is right, heartbroken.....

And you're right about how it affects your mood, I know when Kay has a catastrophe like that she is totally bummed until it grows back somewhat. She gets very reluctant to let me see because she feels so "ashamed". I reassure her and tell her that I don't JUST love her for her feet.... LOL

And others on here have expressed the same sentiment, you're more than just a pretty pair of feet to us too. Besides, the "soles guys" are still in heaven.... So just go with that for the time being.

Thanks for sharing your pain, I guess it's true, misery DOES love company....

swift recovery wishes for you! man, that looks so painful (though i'm so happy the damages arent' much worse). take your time to recover.. in due time, you'll heal and be back to your high standard of amazing beauty.

Like Ned points out, we love you for you, not how your nails look. but I do understand how it affects your moood. Wifey is the same (and she has weak nails sadly.. and they break often with less forceful impacts)

What a sweet note moldy! You won't believe this but it had grown back a little and then I was just in Cozumel again last week and .....
damn - I broke the nail on the left foot! I starting to think I need a toe-guard to come with me next time I travel there!

I will have a new post in the next couple of days -- but not of the broken toenail!

Thanks moldy. The pics I have were taken before I left for Cozumel so any nail shots won't be too short as the right foot actually broke in November and so has grown back quite well.

This weekend shall find new pics from perfectpeds to be posted...

perfectpeds , I'm sorry for your unfortunate accident and the damage to you nail . Fortunately for you the nail did not break in a manner that would cause it to begin to in grow thus resulting in partial removal of your toenail ! With just a little time and some pampering , your nail will be regrown as if nothing had ever happened to it and all of this will be nothing more than a fleeing memory ! I'm 100% confident in saying your nails will be as delicious and awesome as ever along with your gorgeous feet ! Keep your chin up sweetie !
