Excelleent BFT, much appreciated. I personally think the shoes-off security measure is essential for world security! Efforts should be concentrated on women in high heels and flip flops as this is a perfect cover for terrorists, as (on the surface) they seem like an unlikely threat!

Wouldn't catch me shooting photos in an airport these days - celebs or not. Even if there are fans doing it everywhere, just not into being yanked aside on the slim chance someone wants to see what I am taking photos of in the interest of "National Security."
As for taking your shoes off at the airport, when I went to Vegas last July, everyone in my group had to do so at BWI and at Vegas. We actually landed in Philly first on the way home, but since we didn't leave the terminal areas, we weren't checked again there.
