you're a pens fan danielle? you from the burgh?
nothing more exciting than a game 7, i'm still a little pessimistic about the pens winning but they definitely have a chance

Ok, this is what I like about Sid the kid...
The Pens were a dying team and there was little hope for the team remaining in Pitts. Mario got Sid, placed what some would call and undeserved "A" on his chest as he had not proven himself in the NHL yet. Mario was probably the only one that believed in this kid to save the franchise. The rest is history. He met the challenge head on and proved himself to the world even without the support of his team. They seemed to have turned their back on him leaving him to fend for himself. GUESS WHAT? He didn't need them as much as they needed him. He scored, He assisted, He fought and he won the respect of his team, fans and the NHL league.
While he was dealing with a team that turned their back on him, the NHL made him the new poster boy for the league. GUESS WHAT? He lived up to their expectations too.
A few short years later, Sid the Kid and the Pens are playing for the Cup for the second time in 2 years. WOW WOW WOW
Take all of that and discard it and you still have one HOT Man...lol

that's cool danielle but trust me EVERYBODY in the burgh viewed Sid as the savior of the franchise
when we won the lottery to draft him he was immediately labeled our savior and the nhl's savior too
he had the nickname "the next one" when he was like 15 or so
which is why many fans from opposing teams hate him, they feel he is overhyped and complains too much

the game today still hasn't been played, the pens might actually win you know?
the pens won two cups in a row in the early 90's, the bills lost 4 super bowls in a row and have never won a super bowl
the pens star players aren't old enough to be college seniors, it would be quite foolish to think they won't win some time within the next 10 years
infact i'm willing to bet they will win multiple cups, possibly starting in a few hours

Fuckin' Rights! They did 'er! I didn't think they'd be able to take out Detroit in Game 7 at the Joe but they did it. What a great game by Fleury and everyone right on down the roster That was fucking awesome. Congratulations to the Pittsburgh Penguins, 2009 Stanley Cup Champions!!!

WOW i am shocked yet thrilled beyond belief
after being out of the playoffs in february, changing coaches, vaulting up to the 4 seed in the east, being down 2 - 0 to washington, being down 2 - 0 to the wings who kicked our ass last year and raised the cup on our ice, then beating the wings on their ice and seeing hossa practically cry
i don't think it could get any better than that for a sports fan, and our steelers just won a record 6th super bowl back in february
WOW!!!!
