I think it's cute when girls paint their fingernails. I'ts really feminine and sexy. But when it comes down to the finger vs. toe nail polish issue, of course it's always sexier to see perfectly polished toes. I agree that most women paint their toes exclusively over their fingernails; and I hope the reason is because they want to draw attention to their feet.

My wife is the same way. She doesn't work around food preparation, but her nail polish never lasts more than a day or two due to the nature of her job.

no girl is thinking "i want guys lusting after my feet" unless the rest of her is gross and she has nothing else going on physically

I heartily agree! As a guitar player, daily nail maintenance is very important. I don't polish my nails (go figure) but they are well cared-for.
Something that you mentioned earlier. I've been away from food & beverage service for some years now (much to my relief) and had almost forgotten the heartbreak I experienced having to cut my picking nails whenever I found a new job...and having to keep them cut.
