I listened to her record about three times last week and find the hooks and melodies catchy, but the material extremely shallow. Painfully shallow.
She can sing pretty well and has a good voice. And she is very creative and unique. Very entertaining young lady but the fact her material is so damn shallow and empty-headed, if you will, makes her as easy to dismiss as gum drops. You like them and they are fun to eat, but you can do just as easily with or without and they don't really matter and you don't really care if they are on the snack table or not.
As for her feet, I have never seen them. They could be sexy, they could be servicable, they could be clumps o' junk.
I prefer to think they are sexy and TICKLISH!

Shallow doesn't begin to cover it. She sings only about being rich and living a privilaged life. She only gets as deep as being self-aware that she's shallow and empty and fake (Papparazzi, Money Honey, Beautiful Dirty Rich).

Does she even write what she sings about? She's an entertainer like so many of the other pop stars. And she has one CD. I've seen TONS of other artists have a running theme on a CD and another on a following one. Not saying she's awesome, but I think you have to give her more than one CD to really judge that. Now someone like Eminem who sings about his mom, daughter, wife/exwife and Detroit for about 5 or so CDs now is a little different.

omg, talk about someone talking out of their ass before you say things like that, perhaps you should actually listen to the lyrics. Paparazzi - actually about her crazy for someone and being their stalker like the paparazzi Money Honey - how, even if she does have material stuff, the affection she receives from her lover is her money. Beautiful Dirty Rich - she actually says a few times '.. but we got no money..' it's more about her partying alot.
now i am even more annoyed.. not only did you talk crap, but you made me defend lady gaga and yes, i do like her music. it's like cotton candy. when i want something with substance, i am not going to pick her, but there are times were something totally light and substance-less is appropriate.
