We're just no there yet- maybe some day we will be. A lot of old stereotypical attitudes to break down. I think that some day guys who love feet will be seen as more complete and thorough lovers because they ARE interested in the feet along with the rest of the body (that is as long as the rest of the body is taken care of)

But i think in terms of our fetish being as normal as boobs or ass or whatever...we're just not as mainstream yet...Feet have definitely made strides in terms of awareness and being a fetish that is "in style" but it needs more time before it is viewed as "normal" I suppose...

I don't think there is any real correllation between the two, it's probably just a coincidence and I'm sure there are loads of cases that aren't like that...
As for the mainstream idea, I think it's only really the idea that feet can look good and be attractive that is deemed "acceptable" to the mainstream. Smelling sweaty feet, I think, will never be considered normal. Anything that is enjoying something that is generally regarded as horrible is too out there to be considered normal. Even many guys would acknowledge that they like a "bad" smelling foot.

i find that often times women make the wrong decisions when it comes to men.

There is something about foot fetishist that separate us from most guys. I think we have a very strong love and reverence for women that most men don't share. We obsess and marvel over the lowest part of the female form.
Sadly this trait isn't appreciated by most women. An indifference to a woman's feminine powers is very attractive.
