And you WILL have money left over, short of carrying it all around with you and getting robbed. So, knowing that, I answered it the way I did (and apparently others answered similarly).
Had the OP specified you HAD to spend every dime on feet, well I probably wouldn't have answered at all. But, he didn't.

Again... Nobody in their right mind would blow $1MM on feet if they were just given the money. So, to make the topic interesting, the stipulation is added that you HAD to spend the money of satisfying your foot fetish.

No such stipulation exists in his original post. And there is no edit retroactively making it so. I and others have picked up on that and answered accordingly. Again if it had, I would have avoided it. I don't know if you're confused by the "had" part, but in that context its had a million dollars to blow on feet. He did not specify any conditions nor used any verbiage that said this money is only for feet and feet only.

No, because I didn't say I would do something INSTEAD of getting feet with the money, as your analogy implies. I said I would do something in ADDITION to, since I would have more money left over. For your analogy to work I would have to spend, say, $500 on the camera and THEN get golf clubs, not get golf clubs instead.

If I was single and had $1 million to blow on feet,
