My basic view is that the fetish tends to get stronger throughout your life. It can coexist with normal sex drive, and frequently seems to start out that way. However, I see that 40+ males are primary consumers of foot fetish material. It will catch up.
And, if I could chime in on whether feet arousal=sex/porn, I understand both Key/Norcal as two halves of the same coin, but with different implications. I agree with Norcal in keeping the idea of feet arousal distinct from the definition of sex. There's a slippery-slope regulatory issue if feet are officially defined as porn or sex.
I think our preference is better characterized as an "interest"... Ironically, what we do is even safer than a hobby. The same could not be said for sex, which has a disease transmission rate, and also an injury rate among other consequences.

I am talking about guys who just want to sniff, lick, and suck on feet based on their characteristics though....and that is the majority of foot fetishists. Anyone can use just about anything for sexual stimulation but that isn't what the OP was talking about. 90% of guys while thinking about feet aren't thinking about sex because it's a totally different type of arousal. Sexual in nature, but that's it.

I 100% agree, there is not just one single way to have sex, or only one way for it to be enjoyable. Sex can come in all sorts of forms/varieties and doesn't have to fit into any one person's mold. Whats funny is to see how sex advice is sometimes given by a person who hasn't even had sex LOL
There's way too many ways to sexually enjoy feet out there and in all truth, we are all sexual creatures in some form or fashion. I wouldn't hinge the definition of my own foot fetish sexuality based on the opinions of some guy who has never even had any feet close to his bits. Again, comparing something to sex that has nothing to do with it man. Let's compare apples to apples. Feet are only the gateway to sex...and only for a small population of men who aren't TRUE foot fetishists and use it as a crutch or an excuse to get in bed with a girl. Nothing wrong with that, been there..done that but sometimes it's just all about feet.

I am comparing apples to apples. Pleasure is pleasure. If someone gets more pleasure from feet than they do with penis+vagina, how does that make them a late bloomer? They are still achieving the same orgasm they would get with penis+vagina.
