It has so much bad conotations. It paints us as different from other guys--and at its worst, weirdos! And besides, I've read that as many as 20% of us are attracted to female feet, and that's pretty sizable. It puts us just behind the three other female body parts men admire.

I'm pretty ambivalent about that word. Do I love female feet? Is the ocean wet?
The thing is that feet are not my only turn-on, I love a nice pair of boobs as much as the next guy, and those of you who know me well, know that I go crazy for nice plump asses, see Alicia and Tracy J., among others...
I'm happy to "schtup" any great looking girl, even if that doesn't involve foot worship at all, it's all good to me, so I not sure if I have a foot fetish 'cause to me, the word fetish implies a certain level of obsession, which I don't have. Am I the exception or the rule?

Sadly when enough bad peanuts out there give the rest of us a bad name it paints us all with the same brush in the eyes of some.
Need to nip the bud at the source and teach some of these perverts and freaks to quit creeping women out and then they can learn real female skills so they succeed instead of having to just look at feet and crave them all the time.
It is a very relieving feeling to actually get those feet in your face and it helps kill the obsession that causes some of the foot guys out there to bring a bad connotation to the word fetish.

Get used to the word "FETISH" because it is not going any where else soon. The word is really not bad. Relax, there are so many kinds of fetishes. Embrace the word. I prefer people say I have a foot fetish than describe me as some guy with that kinky obession with feet. Fetish sounds so much more sophisticated. So get over it man!!!

I don't like having to call it a fetish on occasion, but it is. Possibly even an obsession. I can't be with someone who doesn't have nice feet. I think about feet between 60 and 90 percent of the time. If I have a sexual thought, it ALWAYS involves feet.
I may not want to call it a fetish, but as the old saying goes, "If it walks, talks, and acts like a duck..."

I'm ok about the word "fetish", but I only get a bit uneasy about it when people find out about it for the first time; I guess I am waiting to gauge their reaction. But I will never apologise about it, it's part of who I am. I have other fetishes too but I would be more uncomfortable if "fetish" is used in that context rather than "foot fetish".

What I hate about the word "fetish" is escorts, prostitutes at brothels or even strippers the moment they hear that word they want to charge extra.Dirty bastards. But once I talk them into waiting till the end to pay the extra I work my magic and then they like what I do, so I dont pay extra. Thats the only thing I really hate about the word.

The worst part about it is if you are able to enjoy the rest of the female and not only her feet, the general consensus believes, you can't.
Fetish is an object of pure desire. Something you just go crazy for, thus the women believe that you ignore the rest of her and it's more of a selfish indulgence of her 1 particular part of the body.
To let a woman understand you enjoy her feet but can love the rest of her just as much is hard when the word fetish is thrown around.
Unfortunately there are those that ONLY go for the feet and make the women's worst fear true.

I don't mind the word even though most people don't have a clear understanding of what it actually means. People who truly have a fetish are unable to achieve sexual gratification without that thing. So if a guy likes feet, but doesn't need heels, soles and/or toes to make it happen, he's technically not a foot fetishist.

Just to add to this...My understanding is that it has to be an object as in panties, shoes, leather, lace, silk, etc. Meaning that if it's a body part, it's not truly a fetish and you have to have it present to get sexual gratification...This means that there is truly no such thing as a "foot fetish" unless it.s for those "fake" feet that you can buy that some guys tend to like...But we use the word fetish because it's easier than saying, "I adore pretty female feet"...

The reason I don't care for it is that there's the whole breast fetishism, but you never hear tit fetish. Detroit it's also defined as a non genital part of the body that causes erotic response.
