James Doohan, the actor that played Scotty in the original Star Trek series has died. He was 85 years old. Must admit to getting just a wee bit misty over that one. First Deforest Kelly (Dr. McCoy), and now Scotty. The old guard is deserting us.

First star to the left and straight on 'till morning Scotty.
