I'm trying to find a way to make a nice calendar with photos I took of a footgirl. I am NOT trying to get a professional result, just a casual "home made" calendar for her.
First, I tried the Kinkos, Kodak, etc. and all of those have merits - but what I want to do is to make my own, using some kind of software program. Unfortunately, I'm in the dark as to any programs or publishing suites are any good.
I have tried MS Publisher 2003 and that had a few strong points but fell short because it has a limited template array (one template only, which you can apply one of several nice "themes" to).
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also - I heard of this program by ACDsee called Fotoslate. Anybody used that for calendars?

MS FrontPage maybe will do the trick. IT has very nice examples and templates you can chose from .. plus that you can download many other from the Internet database. Quite good and simple
As for ACDSee .. I havent use it other than image viewer and light photo editing changes. Maybe it could be good as well. Give it a try!
I've seen the calendar component and templates of Front Page but they are pretty much the same as those in Publisher. When you load those templates they actually launch your MS Word program and you edit from within.
Incidentally, I've owned each version of MS Front Page, since version 97 - but still haven't actually done much with it. I know Mikayla used to use it for her website(s) and have a few other friends who have made some great sites with it. As costly as this software is, it's probably worth every dime. Wish I wasn't so busy (or lazy?) to have not gotten the most out of this.
