For a few years I've been doing photos of girls in front of roller coasters. Other than girls' feet, I absolutely love roller coasters. Well, Ryan is someone who loves them just as much as I do, so I've been after her to do one of these sets for a while.
The set below was shot on one of the hottest days of the year. It turned out to be a blessing for two reasons:
#1: The park was practically empty, with the little bit of people in it stuck in the water park
#2: Ryan's feet got sweaty
Funny thing happened while we shot this set. During the shoot a ride attendant walked over and told Ryan she had to put her shoes on - telling her you have to keep them on while not in the water park section. I just laughed inside thinking, "If she only knew what was on my camera."

I thought about doing an amusement park shoot, gonna be tricky as the one I am thinking of they have Gustapo security guards who would love to try to confiscate my camera lol!

Thanks everyone. Ryan sure did look amazing that day. And NorCal, we were supposed to shoot at another park, but it was so crowded that day, so we ended up waiting almost a year and doing it at another park. Over here on the East Coast, some of the parks close during off seasons, so if you get in when it's early spring, in the fall, or just pick a week day when it's not a major holiday, you can luck out. Shoot quick and move. Another thing I've found is shooting them at beach towns with rides is sometimes better. Only thing you have to worry about is other people walking by really. I did that with Jamie for some of her first photos at Wildwood, NJ.
