It was a movie and she was playing a part. Just like when people kill other people in the movies, that doesn't mean they kill people in real life.
Actually, her older brother Trevor pulled the strings for her to get into acting school in N.Y. then her other brothers and her and her very wealthy plastic surgeon father McCoy all moved to L.A. after the divorce from their mother. In 2004 at age 7 she suddenly got a recurring role on "The Guardian" from nowhere. So Daddy's money and older brother's pull and naturally cute looks she became famous. A 7 year old girl doesn't simply "land" a role like that in Hollywood without LOTS of money and pull.
She described her family as Christian as well, and even her mother wouldn't allow her to watch the movie "Amityville Horror" she starred in because it was inappropriate for her age to see. I HIGHLY doubt her script from "Kick-Ass" was one of the highlights at the dinner table when she was 13 just from her past. They could have toned it down or used alternate lines in my opinion.

Actually the father abandoned the family when she was a child, before they moved to New York so her brother could go to acting school, and he's not in her life, so he wasn't using whatever money he has to "buy" her a career. Even if he was, I hope you're not suggesting Hollywood is a cabal run by Georgia doctors.
Her brother was in acting school and in helping him run his lines she got interested herself. But he couldn't have pulled strings to get her into acting school because a) he was just a student himself and b) more to the point, she did not attend acting school. Her brother was, and still is, her coach.
She auditioned for parts after her family moved to LA, and she got parts. It's not hard to see why. Not sure why you think this particular seven year old got the job under mysterious or shady circumstances, as opposed to any other seven year old that would have been cast?
Of course the Kick Ass role was controversial -- that was the point of the character. Saying they should have toned Hit Girl down is like saying Pulp Fiction could really have done without all that profanity and violence.

It's documented public knowledge that her father lives in Los Angeles (so public in fact his Facebook Page says so LOL, and according to paragraph #2 the whole family (probably minus their mother since the divorce) all moved to L.A. together so she could further her acting career. Plastic Surgeons make a ton of money plus older brother making connections in Hollywood= Chloe the Star. Also, there's no world where a 13 year old child using exorbitant profanity is considered talent or appealing. The movie was pretty awesome and she did a good job, the language was in very poor taste.

Again, the father is not part of her life. Chloe says he abandoned the family. This happened before she ever became an actress. So why does it matter where he lives?
There really is no evidence that she got any of her work from favoritism.
And of course the inappropriateness of a small girl saying those things was entirely the point.

Did you bother to read the content in that link? It's also helpful when making a claim to provide and cite your source.
You know you're right though about making claims -- if you're going to claim that she got her career started due to some sort of favoritism, please provide and cite your source.

The Daily Mail written by an online reporter inserting opinion based on hearsay about Chloe's early life and family doesn't trump an official document page of her, sorry. If you have an issue with facts you deem incorrect, why don't you write the editor of Tribute.ca a letter and tell him he's wrong, you might have a better chance of convincing him.
Even if your statement was true about her father, the follow up of her "not having any help" to get into the industry is false. Again, her brother pulled the strings and made the connections in Hollywood. There's simply no way around that fact, a 7 year old girl cannot obviously market herself nor pay for the time in front of the people that matter. I am in this business and do MUCH more than take feety pics for my website, I would know. Nothing for her to be ashamed about that is how most everyone with talent makes it. Final word, her language was tacky and in poor taste in Kick-Ass and to even compare her to Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta is sacrilege. Apples and Oranges.
