Anyone know of any DECENT books on Foot Fetishism? I'm not talking about Geoff Nichols' "Footsucker" or any Elmer Batters' stuff. Nor am I talking about psychological Freudian stuff on sexual perversions with a section on feet. I'm thinking of a book that explains foot fetishism with some pictures. If there is not a book out there on foot fetishism...and I guess foot fetishists perspectives...then there should be one! I'd like to write it...to be sure...

Sometimes it's hard to put into words, that which cannot be properly put into words. There are many different views on the discipline. And many different evolutions and rebirths of the fetishist, imho. For instance, my fetish has evolved so much since I was a teenager looking at feet versus now.
It would be interesting, for instance, reading the works of a sole fetishist, VS. the long toenail fetishist. Or the Footjob Perv VS. the Trample Perv., etc, etc.
You would have to be very unbiased imho. To properly document all of the intricacies of the female foot. As well as the passion that it invokes to the hundreds of individual opinions of the hundreds of different types of foot fetishists.

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. Yes you are right that foot fetishism evolves, not only with the individual, but with groups. I bet you can map patterns within this forum - some new kinks or requests develop and then change into something else. Yes, documenting all the (as you so wonderfully put it) intricacies of the female footand ways the female foot is appreciated is a big but interesting endevour and yes the author would have to be objective.
I'm thinking about an art/sociological approach. It would involve non-fetishists as well...in fact I'm not sure it should be thought of as a fetish. I mean, breast and ass fetishes have been normalised, what's wrong with feet? Perhaps that's the question that would lead my investigation. A book of essays from people and their views on feet would be good. There's so many interesting approaches... I hope these approaches and ideas come to light through this thread. I'm very serious about writing a book to introduce foot fetishism to the public, but also a book that is FOR foot fetishists.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Jen Sorel's book, "Jen and the Art of Foot Seduction". While IO haven't read it, it has been discussed on here before and got very good reviews, if I recall correctly. Either way, it's worth checking out.

Just finished reading a book called "The other side of desire" by Daniel Bergner. It has an entire chapter devoted to the life of a married man who has an intense foot fetish. The foot fetishist will not tell his wife about his love of feet and their sex life suffers as a result. I found it a tad interesting but hardly in depth.
We need an actual author with an actual foot fetish to write a book. Maybe a few authors could co-write together? Hell I've got a few books about the beautiful female foot in me.

The co-author idea is good. I'm trying to get away from fiction and just write about it. As I said, I want it to appeal to non-foot fetishists as well...so it won't just be something to jerk off to for regular fetishists.

I actually kinda already do this with beautifulfeetonline. I have 10 minute interviews and surveys with the models, etc, all on video in addition to the foot and pantyhose video. My roadtrips, documented, a pseudo reality foot site I guess.
Yes, let me know how it progresses. If it is art intensive, I also own http://www.moderndebauchery.com I would run a feature. It's a subversive art site. The site is waaay under construction, but should launch sometime this fall.

I bought The Guide to Foot and Shoe Worship for an ex once as a gift. I only ever paged through it, but it actually had really good advice on how a submissive (which she was) could have her feet worshiped and feel good about it since it's hard to think about the worshiper not being submissive for some folks.

But I'm into how non-fetish girls view their feet. Not that I'm saying that the surveys you've generated are worthless...they are in fact invaluable...what I want is a crossover...I don't want to generate jerk off material (solely). I want to develop a deeper understanding of why I have this "fetish" and why society sees it as a bad thing...or why I feel that it's hard to "come out" about it. Actually a friend of mine who is into transexuals acutally called me on it. I mean he actually said I have a foot fetish when I have NEVER even dicussed this with him. I wish I could "come out of the" foot fetish closet, I think all our lives would benefit if we did.

I do believe that each fetishist has a different story as to why they are the way that they are. There is no common act or idea amongst us that got us into this journey, at least imho.
I have always thought that people who have not come out about this fetish, may be apprehensive as to how deep this rabbit hole goes, when you let yourself go and let your perversions take over...
But remember that to truly be free is to truly be at peace with yourself. And someone who has not come to terms with this fetish is not free. Maybe some get resentful of the fetish. That is where self doubt, even self loathing in some cases, come into play. I have never thought my foot fetish was a big deal.
So you like womens feet, who gives a shit. Whether one ever come out, or not, does not really matter I guess. But if you see the beauty of the modern woman like I do. If you every so often allow yourself to be completely enraptured by the feminine mystique. If you give into your deeper desires, even for a second. At least you see yourself, your TRUE self every so often. Even if it is a broken kaleidoscope of your true desires for one to reference from...
I still think that we are more "advanced" than 90 percent of our peers. I have studied this quite extensively.
I still cannot see how some of us can date or even marry a woman that will never indulge a simple garden variety fetish such as this. I will go to my grave never understanding why some people would not want, or feel comfortable with verbalizing true needs or desires. With love, imho, you cannot dissect lust and put it into a container to mold into how your partner would choose to define it. I would never give another person the right to even attempt to define what makes me really squirm at 3 o'clock in the morning...
