Not too mention TRAFFIC...there's no way one of no name origin can market a store front well enough out "in space" better than I4S can for you.

They market you simply by hosting you..you can be found by a TON more surfers than you can on your own piece of real estate in the far reaches of the internet Kingdom. There are search features on C4S and I4S and as long as you (the studio producer) add the appropriate tags to your image set or video it will be seen.

I wanted to find a foot fetish clip of Roxie Rae. I Googled her name and her main Clips4Sale store was at the top of the list. Didn't take me long to find out who I wanted.
I did a search for Lela Beryl footjob and Google showed me countless Clips4Sale store listings, with a link to particular video of Lela Beryl giving a footjob - each listing a DIFFERENT Clips4Sale store.
It really wasn't hard to find what I was looking for and all I used was Google. Clips4Sale topped the listings. As for blindly clicking things on Clips4Sale, yeah, that can be a pain. But so is doing the same on Amazon, eBay, etc. Why don't people just set up their own stores for those and cut out the middle man? Oh wait, for all the same reasons people use Clips4Sale. Like I said, it can be done your way, but for as easy as Clips4Sale makes posting and walking away from the file while it does the rest, I can totally understand the appeal.

I am able to see all sides of the argument personally. Michael Pitt's side I can see for sure. Me personally, I've typed in clips4sale.com and gotten a page of "clusterfuck". I had a half idea of who/what I was looking for so I was kind of half able to navigate it. You slap a newbie in there who has no clue who they are looking for, well, good fucking luck with them landing on your "site". So for me, Clips4Sale doesn't really "market" the sites unless like Mike Pitt said, you land in the top 5 "top sites". Good luck.
I also see NorCal's and Pat's side too, this ain't no god damn part time job. You're either in or your out. Simple as that. Go balls deep in it or not. You can choose to NOT be balls deep but in the end profits will suffer ( and you can sit there and spout off about how you are in it for the love of it blah blah blah). Clips4Sale has it going for them that they are the medium to which they provide the hook up of client and seller and provide an easy transfer of funds to purchase said goods(clips).
60/40 can be seen as not a good trade off but take a look at the average joes on say xhamster.com who upload like 10 clips averaging about 10 mins or more a clip and get NOTHING for it, just the pure joy of knowing dude's are jacking it to their old ladies feet. You take said 10 clips and upload em' for sale at C4S and BAM! You are up that much more for doing same thing except adding them to C4S.
Moral of the story, I see what you are saying Mike Pitt in terms of keeping tabs on emails saying they want number 12 clip and they will pay 10$ instead of say 20$ but in all reality most consumers out there will be jacking off at random times of the day/night and will request it at that time with dick in hand and will not want to wait even 5 mins for it let alone say an hour. Hence, the C4S model works well, yes they take a 40% cut but it's worth it in the long run based on maintenance and head aches.

Advertising yourself on places like Wu's is just common sense. I don't think that has anything to do with the idea of Clips4Sale making things easy or charging too much. And I found Roxie through Twitter, to be honest. It wasn't Clips4Sale. My point is, once I found her and wanted to find more of her, I can easily do so and get what I want from Clips4Sale within the time it takes me to type my credit card information in and download the clip. And when I'm looking to get myself off, I'm not wanting to wait until someone emails me the next morning if it's 3 a.m. That's my major point.
