I too am torn with this, BEYOND PLENTY of free out there, so the question is "Why pay for porn?".
I think paying for specific porn, or porn that is exactly what you love and want is worth it. I am personally considering vids over pics.

That's what sets amateurs and professionals apart, and I'm glad for it. There's nothing "dinosaur" about taking pride til the end (whenever that may be) in your craft. There's still a huge gap in function between social media snaps and a professionally taken photo and there's still more people out there who care about the latter than you might realize.
To your point NorCal, I closed my site for several reasons, but one of the main ones was that I don't have the time to shoot the high quality content that I demand of myself. Sure, I'll do the occasional camera phone set with Marien, just for fun when we're hanging out, but that's not the standard of quality that I want to be remembered by...
Wait a minute, are you saying there is no more Feet Fair?

I'm sorry if my post seems a bit archaic, but I had a foot fetish site from 2005 to 2008 and at that time, I was contracting photos from models that had to be at least 520 by 520. That was a large photo, at the time! I had photos that were taken with a camera that maxed out taking 2 mega pixels. Times have changed in the technology field and when you see that I can post a photo now on flickr and someone can zoom in to the actual size of 4928 x 3264, even though that photo was taken 3 years ago! I feel sorry for those in any photography business, and that is what foot fetish site photographers are in. Having to constantly update website code to allow for higher photo standards and drive space and then buy new lenses and new cameras and the line is endless.
At the beginning, all foot sites were amateur, even Lexi, started off on her own page, before the big site took over. I remembered seeing sites on yahoo, geocities, and even aol. Those sites were so small that at the time, the photos were around 240 x 240 pixels at their largest. Yeah, the free pictures I see on imagefap, are mostly people with normal cameras now. They don't have studios or any idea of how light or shadows work so you get these sometimes blurry photos, things out of focus, bad lighting, and then they get offended when you say that the pictures are just okay and not great. I'm guilty, and I'm not afraid to admit it! When my site first started, I had some slightly blurry photos and took pictures wherever I was, not in some well lit studio. Now, I'd rather jerk off to the high quality photos on NorCal or FeetFair, where you can see every wrinkle and every smile, perfectly.

Its very simple. What I like isn't typically available for free.
I like seeing feet being sniffed, specifically the feet TOUCHING the face, not being held at a safe distance. My avatar is the perfect example of what I'm talking about. But that, by itself, is rare. Any vids that do feature that devolve into slobbering, sucking, and sometimes, SPITTING. Things I cannot stand and frankly ruin the vid for me. Now if other folks like it more power to you, I don't.
So either I go without cause I don't want to pay, or I say the things I do want are available just for a price. I go with the latter.
If what you like is widely available then sure I suppose paying for it doesn't make any sense. But if its not, its the only way, by way of either finding a site that sells it or CUSTOMS.

Why pay for "porn" or foot fetish material? Because someone's efforts and time were put into making it which cost them something expecting a return on said investment and there's a demand for it. The demand for quality foot or "porn" material will never go away and you will pay for the good shit. This concept is truth in all business, trade and commerce.

Or if you like a particular content purveyor and want them to stick around and have longevity, purchasing their content will help acheive that. So like as mentioned, because it's worth it to you.

Same reason you'd buy your favorite bands new album even though you can hear it on spotify free etc.
If I really love a band I want them to continue writing new material. If no one bought their stuff they'd retire and go back to a 9 to 5 job.
As a long time producer I can tell you the majority of money made is pumped straight back into the business in upgrading equipment, upgrading editing, hiring hotter models, traveling to shoot harder to find models etc. Yes, these days custom orders do take the sting of pirated material away a bit, but it can still be very demoralizing to see you're hard work being posted for free after a couple of days of release.
