All time favorite would have to be The Beatles. When I was a kid in the 70's I bought all their albums while all the other kids were listening to Kiss.

Black Sabbath during their Ozzy years. It was replaced my Metallica for a while, but now, Metallica can kiss my ass! (Damn, 10 years ago I never thought I'd say that.) Now, Sabbath is back! Let's not forget that Sabbath reunion that's always happening, but never does. Sabbath fans will know what I'm talking about.

Nope...GWAR got me through work out west man...sitting alone in the great white north's wilderness listening to my ipod with gwar pumping out the tunes. Not to mention gets you pumped up to do some work too!

A few years ago I would have said Led Zeppelin, but I think these days, its definitely AC/DC. I love still love Zeppelin though, I wish I was able to go that one night only gig they're playing in London next month, if I'm not mistaken. The late John Bonham's place at drums is being taken by his son, Jason.
It's funny, I'm 23, but most of the bands and acts I really love all had their heyday before I was born. Who else do I like...Creedence Clearwater Revival, Black Sabbath, Guns n Roses, Jimi Hendrix, Metallica, ZZ Top, and The Ramones as far as rock goes. I dig rap/hip hop too: Tupac, Wu-Tang Clan, Busta Rhymes, N.W.A., Public Enemy, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Nas.

Do Rap Groups count as bands? If so then it's "NWA" for me easy... If not then I would probably say a New Zealand band who are no longer together...
Though as stated previously by "You" it is a tough call and I might get back to this thread with a different choice.... although commin' to mind at this very moment maybe the Red Hot Chillies..... Hmmmmmmmm decisions decisions desicions
