If there are any women on the board, please add your input on this. I know society has a lot to do with it, as society says guys feet stink, therefore, all feet stink. It becomes the "trickle down effect", and then all feet get generalized.
I hate to say it fellows, but IMO, I think the reason girls hate feet is because of us. As men, we dictate what is hot and what is not. We make the rules and we make the policies. Once guys generalize that feet are bad, ugly, stink, etc., then it is only natural for our counterparts to think the same.

I don't get it. I'm in highschool and I literally see hundreds of girls with beautiful feet walking through the halls every week day. A lot of girls really take care of their feet (& a lot don't which grosses me out) and it really seems like they love showing them off by wearing flip flops, high heels and painting designs on their nails, but if I was to ask them what they thought about foot fetishes, they'd say that was nasty. My thinking is that when a girl wants to show off a certain body part of hers, she wears something tighter or more revealing (like flip flops or open toe heels)... They know when us guys are checking out their ass because their wearing tight jeans or their tits when they wear a low cut shirt, so if they're uncomfortable about foot fetishes (what's going through our mind when we look at their feet) then why do they show their feet off so much?

There are so many variables in this seemingly simple equation.
I know a woman with a fetish for men's and women's feet. She also likes to have her feet worshipped by men and other women. Likes feet?...yes
My wife thinks her feet are cute and likes to show them off. She also notices other women's feet and shoes (I've created a monster...hehehee). She doesn't particularly *like* feet the way I do, but she's not grossed out by them by any means. Likes feet?...somewhat
I met a woman who had fantastic looking feet, but she wouldn't model for me because she thought feet were gross. Likes feet?...heck no!
Some women I've asked to model for me really have no opinion about feet. They have the "no big deal it's just my feet" attitude. Like feet?...not in particular

I heard a situation where a woman packed up and walked out on a photo shoot because of the way the photographer improperly handled himself during a shoot. He attempted to suck her toes without her consent and made stupid sleazebag comments. Likes feet...not any more!
My wife & I were watching Family Feud not too long ago (new one, hosted by Richard Karn), and one of the final round questions was something along the lines of:
"Name a body part a woman doesn't like about herself".
The first guy answered her breasts, the second guy answered her thighs.
Bzzzzt! Wrong!
My wife and I knew immediately what the most popular answer on the board was...yup, her feet.
So that goes to show that in a simple survey of 100 people, the majority of them are under the impression that a woman dislikes her feet more than any other of her body parts. The odds seem to be stacked against us foot guys.
That's alright though...through process of elimination we just gotta find the ones who like their feet.

True dat. I've noticed that some... actually quite a bit of girls have shoe fetishes. No suprise there. Anyways, I've heard some say that they love to show their feet off by wearing flip flops or heels that show enough toe cleavage. I'm really tempted to "see" if they have a foot fetish and if they wouldn't mind foot foreplay in a possible relationship, but if they take it wrong, I kinda don't wanna be known as the "guy who licks toes".

That's why you've got to get to know a girl a bit before you start sucking on her toes. That way you't be 'the guy who sucks toes' you'll be the 'cool/nice guy I'm friends with' first and the 'guy who licks feet' hopefully further on down her mind.

It seems to me that most women do appear to be fairly indifferent when it comes to their feet. However, that does raise the age-old question, which has already been brought up here by MoRBiDiSeAsE: If that really is the case, then why do they bother to paint their toenails unless they believe their feet/toes are -- or can be -- attractive to some extent?
Like MoRBiDiSeAsE, I'm a closet guy too. When considering the question above, I think that finding female feet attractive is actually a closet situation among many members of both sexes.
I sometimes wonder what the world would be like if it wasn't considered out of the ordinary. I also wonder why that's the case anyway. Female feet are a part of the human body, after all. Those of us who are fond of attractive ones have the benefit of saying we get "all that and more."

See I find this to be odd. I might be in the minority, but for the most part, the girls (all people really) who know me know me as the foot guy or for having a foot fetish. I did artwork using female feet as my subject matter all the way back to high school and through college. I found many girls who thought it was interesting that I would appreciate a part of their body that they tried to make pretty and usually, to their knowledge, never garnished much attention.
Now on the flip side I have come across a handful of women who have thought it was nasty to like feet and pretty much hated them in general. And guess what, only a handful of those girls had nice feet. A coinsidence?
I also think it is quite scary to girls to hear the word fetish. Of course some guy coming out right to them ASAP as having a foot fetish might make them feel strange. Would they feel any better if some guy they just met said, "I really have a thing for asses and I would love to look at yours." Come on people it is in the approach. Show them they're beautiful below the ankles and stop stressing over how bad you want them in your mouth. It seems like so many people with a fetish get ahold of that object and forget there is a person that goes along with them. You have to work the charms. Do I need an infomercial? Heehee...
