I started the thread because I appreciate opinions other than my own. I have a clear view on the subject, yes, but I am open minded. If a position is so compelling, it may cause me to re-evaluate my position. At this point, regarding this issue, it has not happend. Still, I have read interesting and respectable opinions on both sides.
I agree in particular with Tylers initial post, regarding being proud, and not being ashamed, but it's a little too idealistic. Maybe over time foot lovers will be able to be more open and out there with our interests. I applaud those who are doing so in a positive way now. In the end I can understand the desire to keep the whole thing anonymous. It allows people to have their cake and eat it too, that seems like a pretty smart way to proceed if you have any reservations about putting yourself completely out there, but want to play the game. If they can get something out of it that is fulfilling I say go for it. Clearly, given the large number of successful "faceless" models out there, some people appreciate amd find their work fulfilling too. Thats a net positive for all.
Also, because of this thread I started noticing, if you take away the larger foot fetish sites attached to porn networks, at a glance it appears a large number of small site models go "faceless". Also, at a glance, a large number of contributors seem to post "faceless" pics here too. So while the consensus among viewers is for full disclosure, the reality for content providers, particularly those whose primary business is not being a foot model is to remain anonymous. I'm not saying it means anything, it's just an observation.

I doubt outside observers will be so clueless as to figure out that sites that just show models and their feet are being used as jerk-off material just the same as sights that blatently make that apparent. Imagine having to explain a "just feet" sights purpose, you can call it art, self expression, entertainment or a hobby, but some people are going to call it weird, gross, stupid, or softcore porn (depending on how suggestive the models poses and outfits are). Also, even if an outsider were to start at a "just feet" sight, if they just follow the links on the page, it will only be few click before they end up on page with worship and footjobs or with links to such material like Wu's -- allowing them to make whatever connections they like fair, unfair, or otherwise. Both types of sights are very closely related and it won't take a rocket scientist to make the connection of what viewers at both sights are doing with the material.
Sucess is relative, in this biz, I measure success by being able to survive, because almost nobody outside of the large porn networks makes big rev and/or any profit on foot fetish, even network sights make peanuts relative other businesses. Foot fetish is largely a lifestyle business for people who really like feet.
Also, I see success as developing enough of a following to where your getting enough out of your efforts to make it worth your while, which may have little to do with making profit.

I dare all the guys that claim that all models should show their faces to change their avatars to their face pics. Lead the way! I'm certain the culture of the forum will change and many would be more open to disclose their appearance!

It seems here that there is a fine line between what is being considered a foot "model" and then those who are just contributors as well as trying to discern between foot pictures and/or porn.
I have been called out on occasion for not showing my face in my posts, but I am not trying to pass myself off as a "foot model" nor do I have a site, sell pictures or any other item or generate a profit or income of any kind from my contributions.
I post here for the mutual satisfcaction of ... 1) being appreciated and receiving accolades which of course everyone likes to receive and... 2) to know I have brought joy, pleasure, etc. to others.
I have always enjoyed the feeling of giving and any normal human being enjoys feeling appreciated, respected, and perhaps yes - even somewhat "loved".
But I do not feel I need to show my genitalia to prove my gender. If I so choose to share my full identity with someone it is because a true friendship is developing and there is more interaction and sharing of information that just talking about the fetish aspects or viewing pics of feet. To those I build a level of trust and respect with - they are allowed to see "more of me" but never "all" of me... LOL
I am not here to PROVE myself to those who do not wish to view my posts and to each his/her own! There's enough quality material of all types here at Wu's to satisfy the masses!

It all depends. Some model's feet are easily recognized without the face. More importantly, noticing distinctive features (Mommies' tattoos, Tina Marie's high arches, or Mikayla's popsicle toes) have always been my biggest turn on!! All I'm saying is, the FEET speak for themselves. Adding the face in the photo is simply icing on the cake.
