It's funny that most of the responses in here where someone is accusing you of being shallow are coming from women.
I agree with the previous poster that women can be just as shallow as men.
Ladies if you were with a guy and you loved him as a person, but he had the perfect body in your eyes and could give orgasm after orgasm, then one day he had a serious accident and was paralyzed from the neck down (both of you guys are only 29 years old mind you) what would you do?
See the difference in men and women is that women would "try" to stay with the man, act like they really were trying to make it work, and then file for divorce and claim, "he's changed since his accident, and he's just not the man I fell in love with". LOL.
Ladies it's nice to believe that you would stay with the man, but lets just be realistic.
Sexual satisfaction isnt everything but it plays a lot into your relationship. I doubt any of us (men and women) would marry someone that couldnt satisfy us sexually.
And when that's gone a big part of the relationship is also gone. Now some couples can work through it and stay together, some couples can find other ways of sexual satisfaction, (maybe even bring someone else into the sex) but the bottom line is that things will never be the same and it will take some adjusting.
Now my girlfriend has extremely sexy feet, and she knows that I love her feet. Is that the only reason that I'm with her....no it's not. (that's the first thing that caught my eye though ) but if something happen to her legs and feet, it would be hard to deal with, but I would try. You have to also keep in mind that she might not feel comfortable or confident knowing that she's lost something that was so attractive to me, so her attitude just might change, which is another subject that I touched on earlier.
But ladies, I understand that you would like to believe that sex isnt a big enough part of your life to make you leave your husband/boyfriend but lets just be honest.....sex is a big enough part of all of our lives (unless you're over 70) that taking that away could cause some serious problems. (not saying that you would leave, but it could cause MAJOR problems.)
Some couples have problems after breast cancer, and it doesnt necessarily have to be the man's fault...the woman could have a hard time adjusting and just push the man away. It's a lot of different things that can happen.

If my GF lost her feet..(well you guys would lose a model, haha) i'd still stay with her.
It'd be painful enough for her to have it happen, but the amount of pain i'd cause her by *breaking up with her* after the event would be far too much for me to know about for me not to kill myself for causing it.
That, and i'd just not want to. I love her, and her feet aren't my life.

theres no all encompassing definitive answer for this situation (or any other), there are infinite variables and its a situation by situation thing. thats why it makes for such great discussion and debate.
