Yeah, that particular album (Where You Been) is actually my favorite of theirs. J really based so much of his sound (both musically & vocally) around the influence of Neil Young, so I'm curious if his vocals irritate you also, Paul. I'm a big fan of both but certainly acknowledge their vocal style as, let's say, unconventional. hehe

Way cool! I took one of my footgal friends out for dinner a little earlier tonight and they were playing the Bee Gees' "More Than A Woman" from that same soundtrack in the restaurant over the sound system, so they were in my head tonight as well.

I love Neil Young actually (not in that way you fags!) and his guitar playing as well. The difference I think is that Jr.'s singer's voice tends to crack like a pubescent boy who's balls have just dropped. Don't get me wrong, I do like some of their songs... but it is kind of whiney. Aw shit, I'll just pop in "Where You Been" and give it another whirl.
The thing I remember about the show was seeing it for free at Deep Ellum Live in Dallas back around '94(?) and we ended up leaving early in the set because Mandy was getting a headache from all the smoke.

Black Sabbath - "Heaven and Hell"
Me and a new guitar buddy have been playing Sabbath tunes for the past few weeks and this has been the main one we've been working on.
