OK.. I am an old-school foot-focused pornographer. I started taking pics of barefoot women in 1992.. digital cameras and internet were barely in their infancy back then. I have ripped my ass off to get better gear, improve my technique, and convince the hottest girls in the neighborhood to leave their shoes at home and get their soles dirty. I have been an avid reader of LEG SEX (its "bare feet ratio" was better than LEG SHOW's). I started surfing the web in search of barefooting women (my soft spot) in late 90s.. sneak sessions from public computers at my University. WU's was already the go-to reference. I have seen the sites of ALL the "colleagues" around here in their infancy.. and I have seen probably 4-5 as many sites going out of business. In 2007 I started supplying Toes-In-Action (thanks for believing in me, Hal Heaven! ).. the rest, if you are into barefooting and dirty female feet.. is history..
This said.. I am a strong supporter of the "live and let live" philosophy (er.. FEETOSOPHY! ). I have to confess that this world where any Plain Jane posting crappy selfies of her peds in this very forum, and any Ordinary Joe posting shaky candids of his 60-something not-so-hot neighbor barefooted in the backyard, feel that they are ENTITLED TO STARDOM (and rightly so, in a manner of speaking.. as they DO HAVE A FOLLOWING!)..

Hey, don't get me wrong: I have nothing against amateur photographers.. I used to be one of them, and many of them take terrific pics, even in spite of their so-so gear. And I also believe that there are too many crappy pics in commercial adult websites.
I am fully aware that I am a dinosaur, that the togs I respect are dinosaurs, and that we are bound to extinction, sooner or later. That GQguy dude here is fucking right.. people now have access to ZILLIONS of pics & vids FOR FREE in the web (from Playboy's barefoot centerfold girls to barefooted Hungarian farmgirls giving b-jobs to horses!).. so.. WHY ON EARTH should they spend 11.95 bucks per month to see dirty-soled girls at BAREFOOT URBAN GIRLS (not ordinary ones, IMHO.. but yeah, not Miss Universe).. or 20.95 bucks per month to see dirty-soled exhibitionist girls showing their "jewelry" in the street at BAREFOOT NUDITY???
Sure I will not die without putting on a brave fight, with the only weapons I have.. my Nikon, my insane passion for barefoot women, my skills and my wonderful, beloved models.. and when I will be driven out of business by all the I-phone heroes and by all the Instagram heroines.. maybe someone will mourn me and my crazy barefoot online circus.. and I will grin back to him/her from hell!!!
On another note...not sure why the Barefoot Urban and Nudity sites were singled out...I have no stake in the sites but they seem to be at market price...so why would anyone pay for it? Different ethnicity then other sites...just like there are sites( or were) sites with just Central American Latinas and some just black women...and the Russian barefoot site as well...I can appreciate the different faces and the feet can be different as well from what I see around me.
To each his own....I sure hope this site isn't dead...it was a great way to see a variety of vendors and their unique offerings. I've been an off&on member to several of the sites here...admittedly haven't paid for content recently due to lack of free time and low storage space!!!
Hope Wu is ok and he returns...perhaps if he has left the industry...we can rebuild the site. I've been on other non-fetish boards and the owner abandoned them...others pulled as much content as possible and started a different site...and if the original owner returned he could reassume the helm.

Well Feetosopher, you just about captured about 95% of what applies to me, what with me being one of the oldest dinosaurs around.
I couldn't possibly agree more with your assessment of the whole scene, and your work is clearly miles above the usual amateur fare, but which I like on its own merits BTW. My only difference with you is that I can't stand dirty feet, and I won't do beaver shots, but to each their own.
I will continue do do work that is the highest possible quality, given my budget and equipment, as long as I can still make some money from it, but they reason I go into this was not money, it was for the love of the subject.
This the nature of the universe, that nothing ever stays the same, so we have to adapt or perish...

Oneagain just gave me an idea. Should Wu not return, maybe BHE can hand over this site to someone who is able to put a little work and modernize it. Just an idea...

Did a bit of digging. The BHE WhoIs database says that the Wusfeetlinks domain will expire on 3/24/2015.

Definitely not the Universe that demands change. It's some indecisive fucks online (in this case) who think they can be rock stars too and on a whim decide to sway social media. Add in a few content pirates who blot out Watermarks and steal full sets of photos off pay sites and claim them as their own and you have that entitled social generation who deserves none of it.

Really hope we don't all login one day and the site cannot be reached. If Wu is indeed the sole proprietor of the domain, its maintenance, and its costs, though, that will indeed be the case if he's gone - whether in March 2015 or sooner.
Unfortunately, I highly doubt ownership can be transferred from him to another entity without his authorization...
The actual website of Wu's is severely outdated. It hasn't seen overhauls or refreshes in ages, but that's part of the charm IMHO. I like it simple and Web 1.0 style. It acts as a great one-stop synthesized shop for website updates, amateur content, events, news, and webfinds. True, you could find your way to most of the content here on Wu's elsewhere, but the benefit of Wu's is having it all in one spot and shared by like-minded folks.
Here's hoping all this conjecture proves useless and Wu returns this week and all is back to normal!
